Terms of Service

Effective October 2, 2026

These terms describe the general conditions for using this website and working with Untrained Momentum, LLC.

Agreement

By using this website, purchasing a service, or engaging Untrained Momentum, LLC for work, you agree to these terms together with any applicable proposal, estimate, invoice, statement of work, or service agreement.

Submitting an inquiry, scheduling a call, or requesting information does not create a contract or guarantee service availability.

Services

Untrained Momentum provides services that may include:

  • small-business technology and operations support
  • AI agent setup and support
  • workflow and automation services
  • website setup, hosting, maintenance, and support
  • business startup and systems support
  • project and process improvement work
  • documentation and training
  • planning and accountability support
  • local computer and home technology assistance
  • smart-home configuration
  • parental controls and authorized family technology setup
  • other related consulting or technical services

The specific scope, deliverables, timing, pricing, assumptions, responsibilities, and exclusions for paid work may be stated separately in a proposal, estimate, invoice, or service agreement.

Pricing

Prices displayed on this website are current public starting prices unless otherwise stated.

Some work requires a custom quote based on scope, complexity, timing, third-party requirements, travel, or other project needs.

Any custom or additional work outside an agreed service scope may require separate approval and additional payment.

Local technology service

Current local technology pricing is:

  • $60 for up to one hour of phone or remote technology help
  • $99 for the first hour of on-site technology help
  • $75 per hour for additional on-site time

Additional time will be discussed before continuing when reasonably practical.

A service fee covers the time spent troubleshooting, configuring, advising, or providing support. Payment does not guarantee that every technical problem can be repaired or resolved within the purchased time.

Website services

Ongoing website service currently starts at $50 per month.

The specific features, hosting arrangement, number of updates, included support, and other services depend on the plan or agreement.

New website builds, redesigns, additional pages, custom development, major content changes, integrations, migrations, or other work outside routine support may be quoted separately.

Website clients may also be invited to optional group business support or question-and-answer calls. Group calls are not a substitute for dedicated one-on-one consulting or project work unless specifically agreed.

Recurring services

Recurring services may include website support, planning support, maintenance, or other ongoing services.

Unless otherwise stated, recurring services are billed in advance for the applicable service period.

Recurring service may be cancelled according to the terms of the applicable plan or agreement. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for a service period that has already begun.

Payment

Payment requirements are stated in the applicable proposal, estimate, invoice, checkout process, or service agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, project deposits, initial service fees, and recurring service charges may be due before work begins or before the next service period starts.

Work may be paused when required payments are overdue.

Refunds

Because many services involve professional time, customized work, troubleshooting, configuration, consulting, or reserved appointment time, completed work and time already provided are generally not refundable.

If a project is cancelled before completion, any refund or remaining balance will depend on the work already completed, costs already incurred, and the applicable agreement.

Client responsibilities

Clients agree to provide:

  • accurate information
  • timely access to systems, devices, and accounts when needed
  • timely decisions and approvals
  • appropriate authorization for any system, account, or device involved
  • current backups where appropriate
  • necessary licenses and subscriptions
  • safe working conditions for on-site services

Clients remain responsible for the lawful use of their systems, accounts, devices, content, and services.

Account and device authorization

You may only request work on accounts, systems, networks, devices, or services that you own or are authorized to manage.

Untrained Momentum does not provide unauthorized access, password bypassing, covert monitoring, or assistance intended to defeat legitimate security controls.

Family technology and parental controls

Family technology services may include parental controls, screen-time settings, location sharing, device-finding tools, app restrictions, account settings, smart-home notifications, and related features.

These services are provided only at the direction of a parent, legal guardian, account owner, or other person authorized to manage the applicable device or service.

Technology features such as location sharing, cameras, smart-home alerts, parental controls, and device tracking may support a broader safety plan but cannot guarantee personal safety, prevent every incident, or replace appropriate supervision or emergency services.

On-site service

Clients requesting on-site service agree to provide reasonable access to the equipment, devices, network, workspace, and other areas necessary to perform the requested work.

Untrained Momentum currently focuses on technology setup, configuration, troubleshooting, accounts, software, devices, and connected systems.

Unless specifically agreed, services do not include electrical work, construction, permanent cabling, physical mounting, structural modifications, or component-level hardware repair.

Backups and data

Technology work can sometimes involve changes to devices, accounts, software, configurations, or stored information.

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important data unless backup services are specifically included in the agreed scope.

Untrained Momentum is not a replacement for a dedicated backup or disaster-recovery system.

Technology risk

Technology services may involve risks including interruption, compatibility problems, downtime, data loss, configuration errors, security incidents, account restrictions, software bugs, hardware failure, and third-party outages.

We use reasonable care and communicate known material risks, but no technology service can eliminate every risk.

Third-party products and services

Services may involve third-party hardware, software, cloud platforms, domains, hosting providers, Microsoft services, Google services, social platforms, scheduling systems, Supabase and database services, Google Apps Script or Google Workspace services, payment services, internet providers, or other vendors.

Those providers control their own pricing, availability, terms, security, features, policies, and performance.

Untrained Momentum is not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions, failures, or decisions made by third-party providers.

Recommendations and purchasing

We may recommend hardware, software, services, vendors, platforms, or other products based on the information available and the client's stated needs.

Recommendations are professional guidance, not a guarantee that a particular product will be appropriate in every circumstance or remain available indefinitely.

Website ownership and business accounts

Untrained Momentum generally encourages clients to maintain ownership and control of critical business assets such as domains, primary email accounts, Google Business Profiles, social accounts, and other major business platforms.

Specific ownership, licensing, hosting, transfer, and access arrangements for websites and custom work may be defined in the applicable agreement.

Intellectual property

Ownership and usage rights for custom deliverables may be defined in the applicable proposal or service agreement.

Untrained Momentum retains ownership of pre-existing methods, templates, processes, know-how, reusable code, reusable components, tools, documentation structures, and other materials developed independently of a specific client engagement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client-provided content

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any text, photographs, logos, trademarks, files, customer information, or other material they provide for use in a project.

No guarantee of business results

Untrained Momentum does not guarantee specific revenue, profits, leads, sales, search rankings, cost savings, productivity improvements, uptime, security outcomes, or other business results.

Examples of previous work, testimonials, recommendations, estimates, or potential improvements do not guarantee identical results for another client.

Search engine optimization

Website and SEO services may improve technical foundations, content organization, search targeting, local signals, internal linking, crawlability, and other factors.

Search engines control their own algorithms, indexing, ranking, and display decisions. Untrained Momentum does not guarantee first-page rankings, a specific ranking position, or continued search visibility.

Email and electronic communications

If you submit a form, schedule an appointment, become a customer, request information, or otherwise communicate with us, you authorize us to respond using the contact information you provide and to send service-related communications reasonably connected to that request or relationship.

Commercial or promotional email is also subject to our Messaging & Email Abuse Policy. Recipients may request that nonessential marketing communications stop. Service, security, billing, legal, or other transactional communications may still be sent when reasonably necessary for an existing relationship or requested service.

Professional boundaries

Untrained Momentum provides technology, business systems, operational, project, website, automation, and related support.

Unless specifically provided by an appropriately licensed professional, services do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or other licensed professional advice.

Clients should consult the appropriate licensed professional when those issues are involved.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Untrained Momentum, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the provision of services.

Additional liability limitations may be included in an applicable proposal, statement of work, or service agreement.

Service refusal or termination

Untrained Momentum may decline, pause, or terminate service when reasonably necessary, including for nonpayment, unsafe working conditions, abusive conduct, requests for unauthorized activity, repeated failure to provide required access or decisions, or work outside the services we are able to provide.

Changes to services and pricing

Services, features, availability, and public pricing may change over time.

Changes generally apply prospectively and do not automatically change an existing written agreement unless allowed by that agreement.

Website availability

We try to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted website access or that every page will always be error-free.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Michigan unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires another venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services, pricing, technology, or legal requirements change.

The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
