This policy explains what information Untrained Momentum, LLC may receive, why we use it, and how we try to handle it responsibly.

Who we are

Untrained Momentum, LLC is a Michigan-based business providing small-business technology and operations support, websites, AI agent services, workflow and automation services, business startup support, and local home technology assistance.

Our website is untrainedmomentum.com .

Information you choose to give us

We may collect information you provide when you:

  • submit a contact form
  • send an email or message
  • call us
  • schedule a consultation
  • request technology or business support
  • become a customer
  • provide information necessary for us to complete agreed work

Depending on the situation, that information may include your name, email address, telephone number, general location, business information, service details, device information, account information, screenshots, files, or other information you voluntarily provide.

Information related to technology support

When providing computer, Microsoft 365, account, smart-home, family technology, or other technical assistance, we may temporarily see information stored on or displayed by your devices or accounts.

We try to limit access to what is reasonably necessary to perform the work you requested.

Whenever practical, customers should enter their own passwords, security codes, payment information, and other sensitive credentials.

We do not intentionally retain customer passwords or authentication codes unless retention is specifically necessary for an agreed service and the customer has authorized it.

Family technology and parental-control services

Some local technology services may involve helping a parent or legal guardian configure parental controls, family accounts, screen-time settings, location-sharing features, device-finding tools, smart-home notifications, or other family technology settings.

These services are performed at the direction of a parent, guardian, or other person authorized to manage the applicable account or device.

We do not provide covert monitoring services and do not intentionally collect information from children for marketing purposes.

Children

This website is directed to adults seeking business or technology services. It is not intended for children under 13 to submit personal information directly.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly through the website without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the situation and delete the information when appropriate.

Information collected automatically

Our website, hosting, security, analytics, and related technology may automatically receive limited technical information when someone visits the site. Depending on the service, this may include IP address, browser or device information, pages requested, timestamps, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, and technical error or security information.

We currently use services that may include Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, DNS, and security; Google Analytics for website measurement; and Metricool for website and marketing analytics. These services may set or read cookies or similar technologies subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

We use this information for website operation, security, troubleshooting, performance measurement, attribution, and to understand which pages or marketing efforts are useful.

How we use information

We may use information to:

  • respond to questions and service requests
  • schedule consultations and appointments
  • provide agreed services
  • communicate about active work
  • prepare estimates, invoices, and records
  • improve our services and website
  • troubleshoot technical problems
  • protect our systems, customers, and business
  • maintain required business records
  • meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations

Business contact information and outreach

For business-to-business outreach, we may use business contact information that a business or professional has made publicly available, information received through referrals or prior business interactions, or information supplied by business-data providers. This may include a business name, contact name or role, business email address, telephone number, website, and public business-profile information.

We use that information to identify businesses that may reasonably be relevant to our services, personalize outreach, maintain contact history, and honor opt-out or do-not-contact requests. Our Messaging & Email Abuse Policy explains our standards for commercial email and how to report unwanted or abusive messages.

We do not sell personal information

Untrained Momentum does not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

Forms, CRM, scheduling, email, and service providers

Website form submissions are routed through our current form system and stored in Supabase so we have a record of the request even if an email notification fails. Form notifications may be sent through Google Apps Script and Google Workspace/Gmail. We also use third-party services for hosting and security, scheduling and calendars, cloud storage, business productivity, payments and invoicing, analytics, customer management, and other business operations.

Depending on the service you use or the work you request, providers may include Cloudflare, Supabase, Google, Stripe, and other vendors selected for a particular customer or project. Information processed by those providers is also subject to their applicable privacy policies and terms.

We do not intentionally place passwords, security codes, payment-card numbers, or other highly sensitive credentials into ordinary website contact forms. Please do not submit that information through a general inquiry form.

Links to other websites

Our website may link to third-party websites, government resources, social networks, scheduling tools, product websites, and other external services.

We do not control the privacy practices or content of those websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the type of information involved.

However, no website, device, cloud service, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, ongoing customer relationships, business records, security, dispute resolution, tax or accounting requirements, and other legitimate or legal obligations.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information we maintain about you or to request correction or deletion where appropriate.

Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, security, contractual, accounting, tax, or legal reasons.

You may opt out of nonessential marketing communications at any time.

Business customer data

When Untrained Momentum performs services for another business, that business may control personal information contained in its Microsoft 365 environment, files, customer systems, workflows, or other platforms.

In those situations, Untrained Momentum generally accesses the information only as necessary to perform the requested work and according to the customer's instructions and applicable agreement.

Legal requests and protection

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal process, protect our rights or property, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect the safety of our customers, business, or others.

We may update this privacy policy as our services, technology, and legal obligations change.
